Little John Challenge Walk

🌄 Join Us for a longer Hiking Challenge! 🌄 Hey everyone! 🌟 We're excited to announce our upcoming hiking event and would love for you to join us! How do you fancy taking on a bigger walk. Well we are taking on the Little John Challenge in Nottinghamshire as originally devised by the well known long distance walker and author ,John Merrill. This is a full 29 miles in the Nottinghamshire countryside around Sherwood Forest. If you want to push yourself to have a go at a longer distance but without the big climbs then this is for you. The aim will be to complete the walk in around 11 hours and its a great way to have a go at a long distance walk with support and encouragement from us throughout the day. 🌄 Join Us for an Exciting Hiking Adventure! 🌄 Hey everyone! 🌟 Come and join our next hiking challenge.We’ll be taking on a circular route visiting the two Peak District “ethels” of Grindslow Knoll and Brown Knoll. Starting from Edale’s main car park we’ll ascend by the always exciting Grindsbrook Clough and after visiting Grindlow Knoll we’ll traverse the southern edge of the Kinder Plateau with an optional detour to locate the true high point of the plateau before continuing on to Brown Knoll. From there we’ll head down off the plateau before returning to the start in Edale and optional refreshments at the Rambler Inn. Our experienced guides will provide all the support and encouragement you need to take on this cracking hike with expansive views(weather dependant of course). A great variation on the three peaks theme,only half the distance of the Yorkshire Three Peaks and considerably less ascent so if you want to take on a more manageable challenge walk this is the one for you.
